Did you know that 40 kids are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) each day in the United States alone? That's like a whole classroom of kids! Can you imagine?
But that's why our school is hosting a JDRF Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes on 11/11/2016—so that we can help our community and the kids and families that are affected by T1D. We want to make a difference! Want to help us? It's really not hard at all! If you're a student, parent, teacher, or school staff member, you can walk with us - it's so much fun! Just click on the "Join the Kids Walk" button to register for the Walk. You'll get your own personal fundraising page and access to a lot of great fundraising tools! And did we mention how much fun Kids Walk is? www2.jdrf.org/goto/annamcdonald If you're a friend, family member, co-worker, or neighbor, you can help, too! You can support one of our walkers by making a donation (he or she will be so excited!). The money that we raise will help fund T1D research and create a world without T1D. Donations can be sent to: Anna McDonald School 200 second st manhattan, illinois 60442 Please make checks payable to JDRF. A few things to remember: 1. The Kids Walk will be held on 11/11/2016. 2.
